Our Honour Roll consists of the names of all the men who died while POWs resident in camps on Taiwan during World War II.
All of the British, Australian and Dutch POWs who died while prisoners of war in Taiwan are buried in the Sai Wan War Cemetery in Hong Kong. The Americans are interred in either National Cemeteries administered by the US Dep’t. of Veterans Affairs, in the Manila American War Cemetery which is run by the American Battle Monuments Commission, or repatriated to be interred in local cemeteries, most often in family plots.
